The tools included help all to regulate their emotions develop healthy connected relationships.
Randi earned her master’s in social work from Hunter College School of Social Work and her B.A. degree in Psychology from Queens College. Randi is passionate about integrating her social work skills, creativity, and love of yoga, with mindfulness and spirituality into lessons and activities that support social and emotional learning and help children and adults mindfully thrive. Earlier in her career she worked in the Radiation Oncology department at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital, where she developed a child-friendly “what to expect” radiation therapy guide to provide young patients and their parents with psychosocial support throughout the Radiation Therapy treatment process. Randi also created a similar guide for staff focusing on how to treat pediatric patients with developmental awareness and provide psychosocial support when treating children with serious medical illnesses. She also designed and implemented a unique protocol for developmentally disabled patients receiving radiation therapy, which culled from her work with the special needs community.
As a seasoned social worker, student supervisor, certified yoga and mindfulness instructor, early childhood educator, consultant, parenting coach, and mother of two sons, Randi is here to empower and guide you, your child, your students, and your community, to enhance your life so you can MINDFULLY THRIVE.
"Working with Randi changed our family dynamic and has helped all of us to keep calm. Living without meltdowns as a daily occurrence has brought a lot more fun to our house, which creates a less anxious environment and helps stop meltdowns before they start. I’d say we are finally thriving instead of getting by."
